USA - 2020


Ninon was asked whether she could create a corgi sculpture in tribute of a beloved pet Corgi named Darrow. The client provided photos and information about Darrow's personality, and using this as her foundation, Ninon then sought out to meet some corgi's herself to get a feeling for their nature and appearance. Knowing that Darrow had loved his tennis ball, and seeing in his pictures that he always had a huge smile, Ninon decided to emphasise these two characteristics in particular in the sculpture.


Ninon first made the corgi sculpture out of clay, and then had it cast into bronze. 'Corgi' was then carefully crated and shipped to the USA, where the client opened the box with the help of his friends.
